The Simplicity of Running

I've been running again for the past few months.  At first, it was because I was getting nervous that the bulk of my training is the non-weight bearing activity of cycling.  It was easy to see that cycling doesn't equate to great training for mountaineering, hiking, or any other activity hat requires a strong gait and ability to hold your structure.

So, I started running.

Now, I appreciate the simplicity of it.  No prepping bikes, loading the car, gathering pumps, spare tubes, fancy kits with arm warmers, or even the imminent threat of washing a mountain bike if it's muddy, etc..  Just grab shoes, shorts, socks, and I'm off...

When time is short, you can get a killer workout in only 45 minutes.

Hello Cyclocross season.
